Logging A Training Session/Event

After selecting the training type, you will be directed to the DogBase Training Wizard, which is broken down into three easy steps.


Step One - General Information

  • Event type (required, "Training" is set by default)
  • Team (required)
  • Dog (required; can be selected only if a team is chosen)
  • Date & Time (not required)
  • Location (not required)

Besides the default event type "Training", events can also be of types such as: "Deployment/Mission", "Negative/Blank", "Demonstration", "Testing", and "Certification".

You can also choose your current location and address by clicking the "Get My Location" button if you have GPS settings enabled (more about settings here)

After entering the necessary information, click the "Next Step" button. The view that follows is the page for recording the training data.


Step Two - Training Data

Which consists of various inputs depending on the training type you have selected.

Proceed by clicking the "Next Step" button, and the subsequent page is the conclusion of the training session logging.


Step Three - Wrap Up

  • Training session time (required)
  • How was the dog? (required)
  • How do you feel? (required)

You can also write additional notes if you need them.

After entering the necessary information, click on the "Submit" button. Your newly created training will now appear in the general list of training as well as under the "Training" tab at the bottom of the detailed team information page.
